This bookstore was real treasure to find. The owners are very knowledgeable. The prices are more than fair for out of print books. There's a bit of everything here. I'm all to happy to stop in and peruse the shelves for a couple hours. I know I'll always leave with something good!

This is the most magical place to purchase books. I happened upon it quite by accident while visiting Scottsdale with my husband. We spent hours there combing through the shelves. I had just recently lost my father and the owner’s dear demeanor was uncannily similar to that of my departed dad. Our purchases from this store are among our most prized possessions. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Incredible store full of rich history and literature! Was able to get a Keats poetry book from the 1800s here for under $40. And their American collection is incredible!!

Wonderful, experienced, extremely knowledgeable antiquarian bookseller. Some real and rare gems in the store as well as a variety of books which are fun, interesting and affordable. They have always been more then happy to chat with my wife and I no matter the price level of the book we were inquiring about. It is obvious they really are true book lovers. One of my favorite places in the world. We’re from out-of-state but stop by every time we’re in the Phoenix area.

I have been to many used bookstores across the country. My primary interest is history (others in my party have a greater interest in philosophy and law, and they were also impressed with Alcuin). This is the best-organized bookstore I have been to which actually has rare books for sale at good prices. Most other bookstores I have been to are either overpriced or unorganized (or don't have much in the way of truly rare books). This is a smaller bookstore with a very good selection and a friendly owner. There is a good mix of cheaper books (most of the ones I bought were under $20) and expensive ones (above $1k), and plenty in between. I don't live in Arizona, but I hope I can make it back one day.

One of the best shops I’ve been to. Well stocked with unique and out of print books in a variety of genres. Especially southwestern history and regional titles. The books are in excellent condition and fairly priced. Clean, inviting atmosphere as you browse. Well worth the trip to their shop in Scottsdale.

Well organized and had a large variety in topics. Some of the labels for genres need to be updated as the size of each genre has changed, but overall I loved the store and its offerings! I could spend hours here just looking at everything. Highly recommend for anyone looking for old books or beautiful books!

An excellent shop that I wish I could visit more often, highly organized and curated. All the staff that I have interacted with have been very kind and knowledgeable. This is a used, rare and antiquarian shop.
